Alyce Alexandra's Banana Pops
It's great to have a new ambassador this year for No Packet November. Alyce Alexandra is an author, recipe developer, teacher, writer, gardener and thermo cooker whizz.
"My mission is to educate and inspire people to cook simply and from scratch, think deeply about their food choices and live a happy and sustainable life. To me, food is central to everything that’s important – how we eat and how we feed others is such a strong reflection on who we are, our values, and how we live. Homemade is always healthiest!" - I agree with you 100% Alyce!
Check out the recipe below. It is perfect for the kids (and adults) on a hot, sunny weekend.
+ gluten free + vegetarian
1 very ripe banana, halved
120g condensed milk
60g evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Place bananas, condensed milk and evaporated milk in TC bowl, mash for 20 seconds, speed 6.
Add cream and vanilla, whip for 20 seconds, speed 4. Insert wooden sticks into 6 silicone ice cream moulds and divide mixture evenly between. Freeze for a minimum of 8 hours.
Remove from moulds and serve. Makes 6.
