Fruit Gummies
If you haven’t realised by now there is sugar in everything! Sadly our children are exposed to it at such a young age and probably consume too much of it and not enough fruit and vegetables. One way to help control your household’s sugar intake is to create your alternatives. Alternatives that aren’t full of sugar, flavouring and preservatives.

Here’s a recipe to create your own fruit gummies using high quality gelatin and juice of freshly squeezed lemons.
2/3 cup juiced lemons
6 tblspns grass fed gelatin
4-6 tblspns raw honey
8 drops 100% wild orange essential oil (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
Put all ingredients except the essential oil into a small pot and heat gently, stirring until the gelatin lumps disappear, for 2-5 minutes. Try not to let the mixture boil to retain the full benefits of the ingredients. Once at smooth consistency, remove from heat and add wild orange oil. Taste. Add more sweetener or essential oil to taste.
Pour into a silicon tray moulds or into a slice tin. Pop in the freezer for 15 minutes. Remove from mould or cut slice into smaller pieces and store in airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
